Wedding at The Barn Avington, Winchester!

Wow, what a day! Today, I was lucky to second shoot with a fellow local photographer, and we had a BLAST. We started the day at Winchester Royal Hotel where we met the beautiful bride! When we got there, the room was abuzz with excitement and nerves, the bridesmaids were full of smiles and very chatty. I could tell they were going to have a good time on the dance floor later!
After a very emotional first look with dad, it was a quick dash to get to the church on time! The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. John's in Itchen Abbas, where we were greeted by Reverend Peter. It was such a pleasure to meet the reverend, and he was extremely welcoming and friendly.
The ceremony had a very laid-back and intimate atmosphere, and I found myself smiling continuously throughout. Following the ceremony, we all had fun being showered with confetti! We had a brief moment for greetings, hugs, and kisses before heading to our last stop of the day. Visiting The Barn at Avington for the first time was a great experience, and I LOVED the vibe from the minute I arrived.
Everyone was settling in and appreciating the lush surroundings, while the privacy of the barn allowed the children to be carefree and have a great time!
Speeches were filled with laughter and many happy tears! There were so many fun stories, and I often found myself giggling along. It was so easy to see that Rachel and Ryan were made for each other!
We were treated to the most beautiful golden hour light ever!
Absolutely dreamy! And from dreamy... we went to PARTY!
