Kimbridge Barn Wedding Photographer | A Summer Wedding in Hampshire

Some venues you walk into and instantly get why couples fall head over heels. Kimbridge Barn is absolutely one of them. 🌿

I had the joy of second shooting a gorgeous summer wedding here, and from the moment I arrived and clocked all the beautiful plants and colour everywhere, I knew it was going to be a good one. Here’s a little glimpse of the day.

A Sunny Day at Kimbridge Barn

When I first arrived I was taken aback by all the beautiful plants and colour around the venue, you can see exactly why couples fall in love with this place. As the guests started arriving, I slipped into ninja mode to grab all those early, cheeky (and still sober!) candids. 😄

The ceremony was full of emotion and the odd bit of comedy too, the couple’s little twins decided they’d had quite enough and got escorted out to the courtyard for a cool-down and a good explore (honestly, the best idea anyone had all day). Afterwards came the most dazzling cascade of colourful confetti, followed by all the best bits, the hugs, the happy tears, and the congratulations, with friends and family absolutely beaming. 🎉

The speeches were brilliant, bursting with laughter and a few unforgettable stories that had the whole room in stitches. Then, as the evening softened, we were treated to the most beautiful golden hour light before heading inside for a wonderfully energetic first dance, where grandma promptly took to the floor and showed everyone exactly how it’s done. An absolute legend. 💃

Why Kimbridge Barn is Such a Lovely Place to Marry

Kimbridge Barn is a gorgeous rustic wedding venue tucked into the Test Valley near Romsey, Hampshire. Surrounded by lush planting and colour, it has that relaxed, characterful feel that’s perfect for couples who want something warm and unstuffy rather than formal. The grounds are lovely for couples portraits and drinks receptions, and the barn itself transforms into a beautiful rustic reception space.

It’s also really easy to reach, close to Romsey and Winchester and handy for the M27 and A3057, so it’s a simple journey for guests travelling from across Hampshire and beyond.
