Hampshire, you absolute stunner. Where else can you marry with the sea breeze in your hair, then rock up to a mate’s do a few weeks later in a New Forest clearing surrounded by actual wild ponies? Coast, cathedral city, ancient woodland and rolling downland, all within an easy drive, which is exactly why I never tire of shooting weddings here. If you want a Hampshire wedding photographer who’ll capture your day precisely as it felt, the laughter, the happy tears, the full-blown dance-floor chaos, without ever marching you off from your guests for hours of stiff posing, well hello, you’ve found her. 💛

I’m Emma, a fun and candid wedding photographer based right here in Portsmouth, Hampshire, and this is very much my patch. I know its venues, its light and its sneaky little hidden corners like the back of my hand, and honestly I never get bored of photographing weddings across this gorgeous county. Coastal do’s with a proper sea breeze, rustic barns tucked away in the Test Valley, historic gems in the heart of Winchester… Hampshire has the lot, and I would absolutely love to tell your story wherever in it you’re saying “I do”.

Hampshire is honestly spoiled for choice when it comes to wedding venues, and that variety is exactly what I love about working here. You’ve got the wild, romantic countryside of the New Forest National Park, the rolling chalk hills of the South Downs, the historic charm of Winchester with its cathedral city character, and a whole stretch of coastline around Portsmouth, Southsea and Hayling Island where you can marry with the sea as your backdrop. Whether you dream of a grand country house, a relaxed golf club, a characterful old farmhouse, a city registry office or a little church by the water, Hampshire delivers, and it’s all within easy reach for your guests.

My Style: Fun, Candid & Full of Life

My style is natural, unposed and full of life, with a creative eye for the bold and dramatic. Whether we’re catching the light bouncing off the Solent or ducking into a candlelit barn out in the Test Valley, I’m there for all of it: the morning nerves, the emotional ceremony, the speeches that make everyone cry-laugh, and the dance floor once the party properly kicks off. I blend into the day so you can soak up every second with your favourite people, and by the end of the night I usually feel like an old family friend. That’s the whole point, because the moment you forget the camera’s there is exactly when the honest, unguarded photos happen.

I’m also multi-award-winning and internationally recognised for my flash and lighting work, so from a blazing midday sun to a dark winter dance floor, your photos are always in very safe hands.
