Halloween Micro Wedding Photography in Southampton

Charlotte and Tom got married on the 19th of September and threw a Halloween themed micro wedding, which is a sentence that makes me very happy. Spooky season came early and I am not complaining!

A Small Day With A Massive Personality

This was proof you really do not need three hundred guests to throw a belter of a wedding. Charlotte and Tom are a seriously fun pair, and they had sorted shots for everyone, so the room was warm and giddy from the off. Fewer people means more time for the couple and far more of those little in between moments that big days can swallow whole.

The Pumpkin Arch Rescue Mission

The pumpkin arch was set up inside for the ceremony, but Charlotte and Tom wanted their portraits outside in the back garden. Small problem. The light out there was rubbish and there was rain hanging over us the entire time, the sort where you keep glancing up and going “is that…? no. maybe.”

So we worked FAST. Lights up, arch out, everyone pitching in, shoot it, get back inside before the heavens opened. Those night time pumpkin arch shots are some of my favourites of the whole day and they were done in about ten minutes flat.

Sorry Tom

Poor Tom had an absolutely horrible cold on his own wedding day. Did that stop me winding him up all afternoon? It did not. He took it like a champ and the photos are better for it, so I stand by my choices!
