A wedding at Lapstone Barn

My first wedding second assisting with my crazy talented sister! That girl is seriously talented and every time I have the honour to work along side her I always come away inspired and motivated to become the best version of me! Anyways enough about my sister and look how INCREDIBLE todays brides are!!! If carlsberg done brides, am I right?

Our first port of call was to go and visit Sophies bridesmaids and parents and one of my favourite nans! I just love grandparents they are a treasure we should all cherish and appreciate! Things was pretty chilled and upbeat … not sure if any corks had been popped before we arrived but they certainly popped some before we left! This is one of the beautiful bridesmaids just looking amazing as she has her make up applied!

Then we shoot off to go and check out how the brides preparations was getting on. Sophie looks amazing before she has chance to get her hair sorted! Such a warm bubbly bride with lots of nervous smiles and laughter going on. Next we head on over to see Broghan’s bridesmaids and family over in the main house.

Of course they are all cool as cucumbers and ensure us there will be a pretty awesome party to be had!

After a bit of stealthy twoing and frowing BOTH brides are ALMOST ready you can feel the nerves in the air, but can we just take a minute to appreciate the look happiness on Sophies bridesmaids face, I dont think she could look more proud if she tried!

Next up is the big reveal to a very nervous dad! He bossed it and I think he managed to keep his tears in…. It would be hard not to shed a little tear to find your beautiful daughter looking so amazing on her wedding day! Just look at that smile!

After some VERY good organising we first see Sophie and her beaming bridesmaid, shortly followed by her confident and very excited bride….. followed by her clumsy dad who decided it would be funny to fall down the stairs, thats another story no dads was killed in the making of this wedding!

The ceremony was just beautiful, the fairy lights the drapes the romance! I was a huge fan, the celebrant done a great job at getting some giggles from everyone and the whole ceremony was just perfect!
